Creating Artwork Can Be A Safe Way To Provide An Outlet Of Expression When One Does Not Know How To Express What They Are Feeling In Words. Expressing Through Art Is A Way To Connect To Your Heart And Create New Neural Paths In Your Brain. By Creating These New Pathways And Connecting Your Mind And Heart, One Can Open Up To New Possibilities Of Solutions And New Mindset. Thus Helping To Stave Off A Downward Spiral Of Depression And Anxiety. No Artist Talent Or Ability Required For This Experience.
Through Sponsorship From Community Members People Experiencing PTSD Can Have A Creative Experience In A Safe And Calming Environment To Help With Healing Their Minds Through The Process Of Creating Art.
Each Person That Is Sponsored Will Receive A Two Hour Creative Experience That Includes Instruction, Supplies And Will Go Home With 10 X 10 Canvas In A Box To Carry Home And Dry In.
