Stemp Family Chiropractic takes great pride in providing high-quality chiropractic and massage treatment for our patients. Chiropractic Care We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing 'state-of-the-art' chiropractic techniques, including spinal disc traction and low-level laser treatments. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of treatment and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable, and more effective than ever before. As Doctors of Chiropractic, Dr. Brian Stemp, Dr. Catherine Stemp, and Dr. Serena Penn have years of training and experience in spinal adjusting. In addition, the doctors have expertise in sports injury adjustments and rehabilitation for the extremities. Massage Treatment We offer licensed massage therapy by our fantastic therapists. They are each trained in relaxation massage and therapeutic deep tissue massage.

Stemp Family Chiropractic was first started by Dr. Larry Stemp, DC he is the father of Dr. Brian Stemp, DC, in 1973.
Dr. Stemp is a fourth generation Tacoma native and second generation Chiropractor with deep roots in Washington State. He graduated from Clover Park High School in Lakewood and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Washington University. He then attended Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta Georgia where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He met his wife Dr. Catherine in Chiropractic school and in 1998 they returned to Tacoma to practice with his father Dr. Larry Stemp, D.C. Dr. Brian has three other family members who are also Chiropractors; his mother Dr. Susan Strobel, D.C. and his twin brother Dr. David Stemp, D.C., and his sister Dr. Amy Markhoff, D.C. who all practice in the area. Dr. Brian and Catherine now have four wonderful sons; Charlie, Henry, Anders, and Merritt. You can bet he is hoping that one or more of his kids will carry on the family tradition in Chiropractic.
