Job Description
INvets is a public-private-partnership that aims to create a new way for veterans, transitioning service members and their families to connect with education, careers and community. We reach out to veterans across the nation and market Indiana’s numerous career opportunities, coupled with the quality of life that communities across the state have to offer. INvets brings together state and federal agencies to work alongside nonprofit and for-profit entities to accomplish this goal.
Our INvets Ambassadors will work within the veteran engagement team to handle all on-site service member outreach and relationship building on nearby military installations within a given territory. This role will require speaking in front of large groups and individuals about the INvets organization, the quality of Indiana communities, and employment opportunities with participating employment partners. This is a part-time position, typically working 12 hours per week over 1-2 days.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communicate, engage and execute outreach activities for INvets
• Manage client caseload with high attention to detail and high degree of customer service
• Collaborate with management on outreach projects, programs and marketing efforts
• Identify and analyze process improvements
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed
• Support the implementation of new systems and structures
• Manage and proactively develop relationships with external partners
• Support ongoing partnership and programmatic conversations with military installations
• Develop weekly, quarterly, and yearly plans to achieve organizational objectives
• Manage and report against goals, priorities, and objectives to the Director of Veteran Engagement
• Provide additional support to Director of Veteran Engagement as requested
Job Requirements
• A detail-oriented self-starter who can be given a need or objective, break it down into executable pieces, identify questions that need to be asked, gather priorities and requirements, set and manage to milestones and then execute very effectively
• Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to travel throughout the week to various locations near or on military installations
• Previous military service or exposure is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point); CRM experience is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to include grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Recruitment experience is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
