I once had a friend who took up gardening to help with stress. I totally get it.
So now when I have those tough days, I have been cooking. I am trying to do keto as much as possible so I have been cooking up lots of steak, hamburger and chicken breasts. But, I also want the kids to eat more balanced. I will write more on that later.
First let me tell you what I have found. Maybe you are already way ahead of me. But I have found magic. In no way am I endorsing this as a paid ad rather, it's the system that I use. If you have one, feel free to tell us about it in the comments below.
I found that I disliked cooking as it took up way too much time from preparation to clean-up. Not to mention eating time.
My spouse bought this and it sat in the cupboards. It's the Ninja Foodi air fryer.
I decided to start reading about it. Let me tell you how easy this is.
Total work time: 2 minutes (that's mostly due to creating hamburger patties and seasoning)
Hamburger: 375 degrees in air fryer mode
Preheat 5 minutes
Put meat in.
Air fry for 12 minutes. Sometime if I remember, I flip the burgers 1/2 way through.
That's so easy a monkey can do it. This monkey did. I'll be right back. Now I'm hungry.
I literally just made hamburger patties for breakfast. I did season it with some salt, pepper and Italian seasoning prior to putting it in the fryer. Another note, there is a grill thingy that comes with it. I put the meat on it and then placed inside the fryer.
Juicy and delicious.
Clean up is super simple. Pull out the bowl. I normally wipe clean with a paper towel and then run some soap and water, air dry. 2 minutes.
That was breakfast too. Ya, when I get a craving, I can eat anything on my mind.
What do you think? Do you have an air fryer? What are your favorite recipes?
