Food: large portions and full of flavor, I had their house made sangria and an expresso burrito with shrimp. Hit the spot!
Service: lovely and professional. We were greeted in less than 2 minutes, given time to check out the menus, ordered and got our orders, chowed down and paid.
Ambiance: great spot for lunch, they had like professional pictionary up on the tv (we sat at the bar) and it was a delightful experience!

Nice to see there's still a place in Olympia that isn't disappointing!! This has to be the best place in town! Not to mention the best Mexican Restaurant around.
The atmosphere is spectacular! They really went all out on this one. Reminds me of old Southern California. The food is excellent and there's plenty of it. The staff is nice, and prices are reasonable! I'd recommend this place for a casual lunch, or a classy dinner. Six stars. Made me wish I'd learned more Spanish in High School.

We come here on regular rotation. A beautiful interior with plenty of booth seating. Always attentive service and an extensive vegan menu. Many Olympia restaurants ignore vegans, or have a couple items they 'modify' (meaning they leave off the dairy) but El Sarape has at least a dozen items vegans can order. Such a treat to have so much choice. I love the street tacos and avocado enchiladas. The vegan fajitas are amazing!

Attentive service, good casual atmosphere. Enjoyed our dinner here very much. Appreciated the friendly staff who were patient with our indecisiveness during their busiest hours. Food choices were excellent, portions plentiful and delicious.
