The Tap Room is a warm, welcoming pub in the heart of beautiful downtown Steilacoom. It features microbrews and an atmosphere that is conducive to small group gatherings like a book club meeting, Scrabble night with friends, potlucks with your neighbors, etc. Nona is very accommodating and occasionally opens her lovely pub for private parties. It's a small space (maximum of 50) but then "Great things come in small packages!"

We absolutely love this place! The owner Ilona is simply a great person and makes everyone feel so welcome! It is definitely a locals favorite while at the same time the locals are all very welcoming. Yesterday was a particularly busy day and we were so impressed with how efficiently Ilona handled such a big crowd, everyone was so well taken care of and having a great time. This place just always feels so comfortable to us. People playing games and cards, just relaxing and telling stories. Love everything about this place and the beer selection is always fantastic!

This place is very warm and inviting with its wood tones and friendly Steilacoom faces. It only serves drinks, but does allow for food to be brought in from other places. This is not a kid friendly joint as you have to be 21+. The hours are only a few days a week but are pretty consistent. Recently they have joined forces with a local pizza man who cooks pizza in his mobile oven right outside. They also have game nights with tournaments for games such as cribbage. If you are looking to have a nice evening with a good drink and possibly meet a new friend, come to the taproom. Watch out for a guy named Andy- you will know him when you see him!

Wow-so much fun. Great beer selection and SUPER cold and fresh beer. I've been told the hours will change and they will be open more often-looking forward to it. Fantastic local spot.

My first time visiting the Taproom, I felt welcomed upon entering. They have a good selection of drinks from some from the local area. I ended up getting cider in a growler to go. I also met the owner, a cute little dog who's also on the label of the growler.
I highly recommend this place!

Such a friendly clientele and the host is great (and her little canine greeter friend is adorable). Loved this place as a newcomer and plan to go back soon.
