KEI’s story is rooted in the extensive experience of its founder and President, Timothy A. Krouse. Tim began his career in 1979 as a Construction Electrician in the U.S. Navy’s Seabees, where he honed his technical skills and leadership abilities. After leaving the Navy, he worked in various roles as an electrician, estimator, and project manager before joining the Federal Bureau of Prisons as an Electrical Supervisor and later General Foreman. While at the Bureau of Prisons, Tim earned his Washington State certifications as an EL01 Electrician, Administrator, and Master Electrician, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
