There are ways that you can use this time wisely. Go through your home and find the items that you don't use or no longer need. Got clothes that don't fit? Sell them. Furniture sitting in your garage or storage? Sell it.

There are some key factors that you have to consider with groups to be successful.
1. Each group has rules. Make sure you follow them.
2. Post only once per day. People get tired of someone spamming a group and they report if it gets out of control.
3. Post every day if you want sales.
4. Facebook limits the amount of people who actually will see a post. Hence the reason it is important to post every day until you get the sale.
5. Invite your friends to join the group once you are admitted into the group. Your friends can "like" your posts which makes Facebook increase the visibility of your posts.
6. Keep Facebook Terms of Service (ToS) and policies in mind (see below). They do not permit, guns, ammo, pet sales

Final thoughts. Clean the things you sell. In light of the pandemic, wipe and sanitize the items you sell.
Keep social distancing in mind. Meet in secure locations. If you buy a cell phone or iPad, generally I wouldn't suggest it unless you can go in to an apple store or cell phone store to ensure it is transferable. In fact, ensure that all electronics can be turned on. Do not pay online until you see the item in your hands.
