It’s that time of year again – the Cider Swig is back and better than ever! Celebrating its 11th year, Washington's largest one-day cider festival will take place in Gig Harbor and promises to be a can't-miss event for cider enthusiasts, food lovers, and families alike. If you’re a fan of craft beverages and fun-filled community events, then mark your calendars because this year’s Cider Swig is bigger and more exciting than ever before.

Sip, Savor, and Celebrate!
The Cider Swig is a celebration of all things cider, bringing together over 130 varieties of regional ciders, meads, wines, spirits, and craft beers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. It’s a chance to taste the best of what local cider makers have to offer. Whether you're a cider connoisseur or new to the scene, there’s something for everyone. The tasting event isn’t just limited to cider – it also includes meads, wines, and other regionally crafted beverages, giving you a chance to explore new flavors.

And that’s not all! This year, the Swig’s Pop-up Bottle Shop allows you to take your favorite drinks home, so you can enjoy them long after the event.

Award-Winning Food and Artisan Vendors
Pair your drinks with the delectable curbside cuisine from local food trucks and area chefs. From savory dishes to sweet treats, the festival is packed with award-winning options that highlight the best of Pacific Northwest flavors. Local artisan vendors will also be on-site, showcasing unique crafts, artwork, and regional products.

Live Music, Games, and Competitions!
The Cider Swig is not just about sipping cider – it’s also about having fun! Throughout the day, you can enjoy live music from talented local bands, providing the perfect backdrop to your cider experience. If you're feeling competitive, sign up for one of the festival's beloved contests, including the 3rd annual Hammerschlagen, the Apfelweingkrug (cider stein-holding) competition, and the epic Keg Toss. Plus, don’t miss the 6th annual Battle of the Pies - Apple Pie contest, where local bakers go head-to-head to create the ultimate apple pie.

Supporting the Community
Beyond the fun and drinks, Cider Swig has a strong commitment to supporting the community and the environment. The event highlights Washington’s rich agricultural heritage, reinforces community ties, and promotes local businesses, environmental organizations, and artisans. Proceeds from the event help support environmental programs in the region, with a focus on protecting local watersheds.
