Advanced Dental Care - Tacoma

i am a very new patient, new to the area, and I had an emergency with my Maryland bridge which is kind of an old school dental fix. Had had it in place 12 years, suddenly snapped off before I was supposed to fly out on a big trip. Advanced Dental Care got me in right away and had it taken care of practically immediately. Everyone in their office is kind and considerate. I've been to a lot of dental offices (I have terrible genetics when it comes to my teeth) and they truly are great, highly recommend!

I just recently started going here for my primary dentist and am throughly enjoying it.

Dr. Singh gives to her patients the upmost care -- throughly explaining any process, patiently listening to questions, and consistently checking in with her patients comfortability.

Yes, it can happen to anyone. I am actually calm walking into a dental office. I have a nice set of teeth but still, sounds, smells, and tastes all emerge at the same time.
Great office staff who really enjoy their work.

Just recently moved to Tacoma and needed a primary dentist. Saw this place on Yelp and was so glad I did! I was very impressed with this place. They have screens that they put in front of you while they take pictures of your teeth so you can see everything going on. Honestly, seeing my teeth from that angle really motivated me to floss more. Also during my cleaning, they played tv on the screen to watch! The staff here are super nice and I felt comfortable the whole time. I really recommend this place if you are in the southend area of Tacoma. I'm looking forward to me next apts because I know I'll be taken care of! :)

I had a dental emergency and checked every dentist most were closed the rest were booked... the team here was absolutely incredible, understanding and compassionate... they agreed to just look at it and see what was going on with no promises for procedure... they thought I'd have to wait till Monday but after looking at an cray they took they agreed the tooth needed to come out now... they did it in no time and I have no words for how grateful I am! Thank you Bridget and team!

I seen both Dr Gaurav and Dr Xu, I have to admit I like them both. Both of them very knowledgeable, I recently came in for a severe throbbing pain. But I had to come in I saw Dr Xu, I couldn't be more happier. He made me feel very comfortable and I gain a lot of knowledge when I Left.

Let alone the front desk staff very friendly, prompt and professional.

The assistant make you feel comfortable and help in any way. I ask a lot of question and they were there answering them fully in depth. I really Enjoyed it here.

i did some research before i make decision and after my first visit, i highly recommend you come to here for your dental care. Dr.Xu is super patient and professional, he is not just want to help you for your current issue but for long-term consideration, took entire month X-ray with Stephanie, Ohh My, she made my dental exam not pain n not scary at all. Everyone is super nice and professional! Good place! Good team!

Yay! I'm so happy I found my new dentist! Really lovely people! I needed several hours worth of work, and I wanted it done as soon as possible., because of course I've been putting it off! They found a way to get me in there and get it all done in one week! They worked hard and called me with every cancellation they had available! So helpful, really kind, really thoughtful. I had a lot of work done with zero pain, very comfortable! Really feel good about this place and their service and I feel good about my teeth now too!

If I could go beyond five starts, I certainly would. Regretfully, it had been sometime since I had visited a dentist. In the past, I always felt as if my oral imperfections were judged or put on display. Today, I was in lots of pain and was forced to search for a dentist, when my wife stumbled upon this group of professionals as a result of an online search. When I initially called, I was greeted with a very caring and empathetic person. She set up the appointment and I was seen, less than two hours later.

When I arrived, my apprehensions were strong, yet my discomfort was stronger. I then met Bill, who was a dental assistant. He sat down with me and talked for a few minutes, rather than simply shoving dental instruments down my mouth within minutes. Bill mentioned working for Dr. Shoafan for over twenty one years and I soon discovered that they work very well together. In talking to Bill, I disclosed my embarrassment and apprehension. He assured me that everything would be fine.

After meeting with Dr. Shoafan, much like with Bill, he sat down with me for a few minutes and talked before proceeding with addressing my discomfort.

As I left, I felt confident in knowing that I had now found a new dentist. I've scheduled for a follow up, already. Great place, great professionals.

Dr. Kevin Xu is simply superb. As a patient, his ability to diagnosis, present treatment options in an easy to understand way, and then successfully implement the exact treatment he promised is unrivaled. The entire staff reflects professionalism and respect.
