Cute little authentic spot with amazing pho!!
Our go to after appointments on this side of town. We always order extra to take home it's that good. The ladies working the front are sweet and the service is great.
This time we had the beef Pho, chicken Pho, a chicken Bahn Mi and a Thai iced tea. Highly recommend!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 7, 2024
My husband and I came to dine here for dinner. I got the pork belly but substituted for egg noodles instead of rice. He got the combo pho. This restaurant is like stepping back into 1990s seattle when the pho was still good. The broth was flavorful and you could tell they had simmered the beef bones for a long time. The pork belly was meaty and juicy with a nice sharp contrast of raw onions. It was delicious!!
The restaurant itself is a small room with tiled floors and tables and chairs set in a uniform manner. There's some cute cartoons on a plastic wall shield at the counter but other than that, just a plain restaurant. The service was quick and they listened to what we wanted. Overall, we were quite happy.
If you're looking for pho and want really good broth, try this place out. The prices were a bit high but the food was delicious and the portions were quite large.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Anna C.Los Angeles, CA05618Apr 6, 2025
This place is a must stop! From the ambiance , decor being so cute and unique on its own. The brisket pho and fried rolls is very good! The service is amazing kind and attentive. The details at this restaurant from the cutlery is on point, not your regular pho place. You can see that the extra care has been taken and carefully planned from the owners. I will definitely be coming here again.

This place was recommended for the best PHO and HELLO!? I am very delighted! The broth is rich and savory. The chicken thinly sliced with abundant amount of noodles, fresh onion mix, Mung bean and condiments. I also got a side of steamed veggies. Cooked to perfection's of soft and crisp. This is HANDS DOWN the place to enjoy a steaming hot bowl of PHO!

The spring rolls are 5/5 amazing! They are loaded with shrimp. Two come in an order and between my husband and me they were a perfect appetizer. Maybe even more filling than we expected but we loved them.
We shared a bowl of pho and they were very friendly and brought us out an extra bowl with it. There's so much meat and noodles that we had more than enough for the two of us. Personally I felt the broth was a bit blander than I usually like and we weren't brought out any chili sauce to mix. There was sriracha at the table though so I added a bit of spice to some bites but I'd say the pho for me was 4/4 although my husband was a huge fan.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 2024
In what can be a challenging neighborhood due to past homeless issues around the local
Lowe's, and Hobby Lobby PSF8 stands out as a diamond in the rough (area) though the homeless situation challenged this commercial area in the recent past it's much better now. PSF8 has a beautiful patio and I was there in the late summer, though we opted against the patio, it's wonderfully maintained with the owner clearly maintaining the landscaping in the front. Their menu is pricey, but the unique flavors found here, were enough to warrant a return someday. The inside layout is simple, I'd say an average (in that it's not overly designed) interior that's clean and pleasant. Our dishes came out rather quickly, as it wasn't too busy. I approached my Banh Mi skillet too quickly so there's no photo, but I chose the beef, and much has amazing flavor and is a nice mix of savory, sweet, spice. Comes with a perfectly crunch baguette! The skillet's essentially a Banh Mi sandwich that you can build however you like. My wife got the Charbroiled
pork Egg Roll Noodle Salad, which also didn't have any leftovers. She does add additional chili oil for additional heat. We paired that up with fresh spring rolls. I will say, their peanut sauce is one of the better ones locally with an acceptable amount of crushed peanut on the top. I didn't quite vibe with our waitress. My wife asked about their chili oil and the waitress responded with a voice level higher than I was comfortable with, questioning whether my wife was just asking about it, or if she wanted some. She was answering the question, my wife didn't seem bothered by this but it put me on the defensive, I'm extremely emotionally minded, or this four star would be five. All in all, a decent experience but as I said it is pricey. BTW, as a side note, if you like the chili
Oil as my wife does, they do sell what they use at the restaurant. Just be careful in how you ask for it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nathan S.Seattle, WAAug 15, 2024Updated review
Absurdly high prices.
Nearly $20 for a small bowl of pho gha and $10 for egg rolls. Ridiculous.
When we walked in, there was nobody in the dining area.
This place is slowly going out of business.
If you want pho, go to the place in Tumwater. It's cheaper.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your visit and it’s such an unfortunate that you still found our food pricey after 10 years. For what it’s worth, it was $8/ bowl of chicken pho soup back in 2014 and $16 now 2024, not $20 as you stated. And that bowl can easily be shared for 2 people. Thanks again for your concern about us going out of business!! We’re opening up our 3rd location this year! Have a nice day!May 28, 2015Previous reviewIs there something special about this place that I don't know about? Or are people overrating this average pho restaurant? Probably the latter.
My chicken pho and egg rolls came to $13.00. This seems a bit much. $7.00 for a bowl and $4.00 for egg rolls sounds about right. The price should have been closer to $10.00.
I don't understand why Pho Sai Gon 8 has a 4.5 star rating.
The service was decent, but nobody ever returned to refill my water glass. I was using a lot of hot sauce and REALLY WANTED SOME MORE FREAKING WATER, but didn't want to stand up and educate these people on customer service.
Yes, the egg rolls are good. It is possible to make bad egg rolls because I have had them, but fortunately these were pretty damn tasty.
The pho, however, was bland. I spiced it up with some hot sauce, which backfired on me because I needed to ration my water supply.
Otherwise, it wasn't bad at all. It had nice, white pieces of chicken and plenty of noodles.
I realize that these restaurants love to dump green stuff into your bowls, like, cilantro. I hate this stuff, but it's fine. I have learned to eat around them. Pho Sai Gon 8 seems to throw an abnormally large number of "green things" in their bowls. Not sure why.
Overall, this was an exceptionally average experience. No surprises and no real serious criticisms...other than the water issue.
Feel free to visit Pho Sai Gon 8, but don't expect to have a teeth-shattering pho'gasm. - Dec 1, 2024
The Chicken Broth & rice were the highlight of the order. The broth was so flavorful and hit the spot on a cold evening. The rice was cooked perfectly. The Egg Rolls bowl was a good portion with lots of vegetables, but was not exceptionally tasty.
